Zolotoi Aktiv buys firm producing gold in Kamchatka Region

MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- Group of companies Zolotoi Aktiv of Oleg Karchev has acquired company siGMA producing gold on the Ozyornovskoye deposit in the Kamchatka Region, a representative for Zolotoi Aktiv told PRIME on Wednesday.

"Zolotoi Aktiv is expanding the mineral resource base for its facilities, including acquisitions of new objects at the stage of industrial development,” the representative said without disclosing the deal price.

“The acquisition of siGMA that owns the Ozyornovskoye deposit on Kamchatka is to be closed soon."

Ozyornovskoye's reserves for open pit mining were approved by a state commission in 2020 at 11.3 million tonnes of ore, 42 tonnes of gold and 49.5 tonnes of silver. The resource potential stands at about 170 tonnes of gold.
